Digital 'C' type prints (110cms x 165cms)

The light from a scanner has always struck me as being like that of old master paintings, many of which probably used a lens to achieve realism.
This and a visit to see a retrospective of Hans Bellmer’s work formed the idea for this set.

'Self Image' has won the Contemporary Print Award at the 'Through the Lens' exhibition, which runs from 8th June to 20th July at the Royal West of England Academy.
